Tell
our readers where we are.
We are in Navato, California, which is about half an hour
north of San Francisco. I've been living here all of my life.
I actually live more north of here, totally in the country.
I live on an apple orchird and it's really beautiful there.
I didn't appreciate it when I was younger, and I always wanted
to be down in the city (San Francisco). But it's really nice
to be able to go home and have peace and quiet and be out
in nature, as cheesy as it may sound, but it's really beautiful.
So
you're a real country girl?
Yeah, I'm a country girl in disguise actually. I know how
to build a fire, I like going camping, I like fishing, doing
stuff like that. Part of me is a city girl, but part of me
will always be a country girl, so it's kind of like the best
of both worlds.
What
do you like to do in your spare time?
Everyone assumes I'm a party animal, but I'm really not. The
thing I really love to do though is go to concerts. I love
seeing live bands more than I like going to dance clubs. I
also love going into the city. I love to eat, and San Francisco
is so well known for its food. And I'm a bit of a computer
nerd and a bookworm too. So I'm kind of a homebody. I like
to stay home and have quiet time, and to me, that's fun. See,
I must be getting old!
How
do you maintain your figure?
How do I stay in shape? I'm actually blessed with my parent's
genes. My mom is 4'10. She's this tiny little Asian woman
and she's only about 80 pounds. She can eat junk food and
she stays 80-something pounds. My dad is really tall and skinny,
so I guess it's just in my genes to be skinny. But I still
watch what I eat and I still stop by the gym occassionally.
What
are some of your dreams?
I definately would like to run my own business, or be in charge
of something, because I don't want to work for someone else
the rest of my life. I think eventually the most important
job I'd have is being a mother. Being a mother is a really
tough job, and I don't think people give it as much credit
anymore. I may be a little old fashioned, but being a mom
is a really important job and I think that ultimately, that's
what I really look forward to in life.
Any
closing remarks?
Just want to say that I'm grateful to all my fans and that
I even get to be here. It's really flattering that people
want to see pictures of me and that they want to take pictures
with me at the carshows. I know this won't last forever, so
I'm trying to enjoy it while it's here. But I'm really thankful,
and I love all my fans... thank you!
